How to apply for CPT Program?
To apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), follow these steps:
1. Visit the School Website
- Go to https://newvisioninstitute.org/forms/ and click on the CPT Request Form.
2. Select the Academic Quarter
- You must apply for CPT every quarter, so make sure to select the correct academic quarter when filling out your application.
3. Attach a Job Offer Letter
- Your job offer letter must be on company letterhead and include the signature of your supervisor.
- A sample job offer letter is available on the website—please ensure that your letter follows the same format.
4. Application Review
- Once we receive your completed application and job offer letter, we will review your submission for accuracy and completeness.
5. Receive Your CPT-Authorized I-20
- If your application is approved, the school will issue a new I-20 with CPT authorization dates.
- CPT is typically valid from the beginning of the quarter until the day before the next quarter starts.
