Student grievance

New Vision Institute does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, creed, sex, age, or handicap in its employment or in its educational programs and activities. Students can file a grievance if they feel that in any of these areas they have been discriminated against. Students may file a grievance if they believe they have been deprived of a right granted by the Board of Trustees to students in any of the New Vision Institute’s policies or regulations. Such grievance processes are designed to settle disagreements as equally and quickly as possible while maintaining the right of students and staff members.

Student Grievance Procedures

The Student Grievance Procedures apply to the following types of issues: arbitrary action or unofficial sanctions without regard to due process, course grades in bad faith, violation of state or federal rights, or college-defined student rights, unspecified or miscellaneous grievances, and acts or threats of intimidation or general harassment (e.g. hazing).
