The B.A. in Religious Business program is dedicated to integrating religion, faith, and learning. Consequently, it endeavors to promote a balanced commitment to God's revelation and academic excellence in the pursuit of knowledge. The School's programs are academic and professional programs designed to prepare men and women for various purposes, both within and outside the church. The programs provide academic study and training for participants to reflect theologically on the role of religion, Christian life, and the church in contemporary society. Moreover, the programs aim to develop skills for effective business administration within various settings, including businesses, corporate environments, entrepreneurial start-ups, local churches, mission agencies, and para-church ministries.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

(1) Understand market functions and international business.
(2) Explain the use of supply and demand to plan and execute strategies for business growth and sustainability.
(3) Read and interpret financial information from domestic and international markets.
(4) Apply Christian ethics and principles in everyday use for business settings and dealings.
(5) Demonstrate advanced proficiencies in critical thinking, research and writing.
(6) Manifest mature Christian character.
(7) Effectively understand and explain biblical truth.
(8) Effectively serve and lead in business environments, or churches, or Christian organizations for the cause of Christ

Career Opportunities

This program prepares students for the administration of entrepreneurial and/or corporate activities with a Christian paradigm. Religious Business majors use their interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills to commence, administer, and/or manage business towards a higher calling. Businesses can be local, domestic or international. Christian Religious Business majors may function in local churches, their own business endeavors, and the corporate field. They use their knowledge and skills to manage daily activities, or plan and execute future business goals, while adhering to Christian principles of integrity and diligence.
